Springtime in the Garden of the Mind

Picture yourself in a grand library,
the library in the cabin in the woods
looking out across the forest to the mountains
deep in the backcountry of your mind.
Looking down from the mountains to the forest,
and down from the forest to the garden
in the front yard of the cabin,
the long neglected garden of your mind.

Springtime is coming to the Vast Country,
the storms and floods of winter have gone
and it is time now to think of planting
so that new ideas may grow and flourish
in the new and fertile soil left by the floods.

You look down at your desk in the library,
and you see the new prize of your garden,
a rose bush, with a single fresh bud,
the fragrant red rose
of deep and instant trance
imported all the way from
the Carolina in your Mind
and as you look into the bud
of the fragrant red rose
your mind wants to slip into
a nice, deep, comfortable trance.
So deep, so relaxed, so powerful...
When you think of the fragrant red rose
it takes all of your attention
to resist the power of its trance.

But why should you resist this trance?
This nice, deep, comfortable trance?
Inside the Vast Country trancing is power,
and the deeper you go into trance,
the more powerful your magic becomes.
This will be a fine and powerful piece
of the new garden of your mind.

You arise from the desk,
in the library of the cabin
and you walk out the front door,
to examine the state of your garden.

The garden of your mind is there,
watered by the stream of your consciousness
with its view of the lake of your memory.
It was so beautiful once, before the storms.
But, look at it now, after the long hard winter:

Only the tree of your manhood,
made of the same sturdy wood as the cabin,
and watered with the essence
of your brave and manly spirit it produces
has survived the winter totally intact.

Some of the ideas that you had planted
have been trampled by your beast, or
have been washed away by the floods and storms
and no longer occupy the places you had for them.

Some of the ideas that you had planted
have flourished beyond their usefullness,
overgrown and ugly, taking more than their share
of the time and space in your garden of the mind.

Some of the ideas have been battered,
by the storms and floods of the winter,
and have rotted roots or lost their shoots
down into the stream of consciousness
where they grow out into the real world.

Some of the ideas, you did not plant at all.
There are toxic weeds that have invaded
from the darker parts of the Vast Country,
flourishing and spreading their poison
into places where they should not go.

And some of the ideas are fine as they are,
and have flourished as they were intended to,
but are simply not as beautiful
as the wildflowers of the mind they replaced
or are not what you intended them to be
when you first planted them in your garden.

You look out across the meadow
where your dreams grow into reality,
and you feel the cool air of spring,
and the warm golden light
of the beautiful sunshine on your face,
and the warm golden light fills you
with warmth and fellowship and love.
And you are filled with a new determination,
to make your garden worthy of the new addition,
the fragrant red rose of deep and instant trance.

You can plant any ideas you want to
in the garden of your mind, and this time
you will plant garden more perfect and beautiful
than any that you have ever planted before.

Over the next few days, as you listen to this trance
you will rebuild your garden better and better,
with all the best ideas that now grow there,
plus all the best ideas that used to grow on this spot
with any and all additions that suit you added on.

You begin by collecting the seeds in the garden
of all the ideas that you wish to keep,
and of all the ideas that you wish to change,
and you take them down into the basement
alchemy lab under the cabin with its thick walls
where they will be safe from all your magic,
and where they can be made pure and perfect,
without any influence from the rest of the Vast Country.

Then you pull out your shears and begin pruning back,
all of those ideas that have overgrown beyond their place,
cutting them back to the levels that are appropriate
so that your garden may have balance and beauty again.

Next, you pull up all of the toxic weeds,
that have overtaken your beautiful garden,
being careful not to disturb anything you want to keep.
You relax and let your dream body fade as you summon your magic,
and you burn the toxic weeds with a magical fire
that consumes them totally and completely,
and watch as their smoke drifts away and disperses
disappearing harmlessly into the cloudless sky.

You cast a spell upon the smoke of your discarded ideas,
so that they will grow only far away
in the backcountry of your mind,
far away from your stream of consciousness,
far away from the garden of your mind
where they can never grow out into the real world,
where they can never harm your real life again.

Then you go out into the meadow,
and track down the wildflowers of your mind,
that once grew on the spot where the garden now stands.
Nothing ever dies in the Vast Country....
your subconscious mind still contains
every idea that ever flourished in your mind,
whether it reaches your consciousness now or not.
You track down all the fine and beautiful ideas
that flourished in your mind before the garden,
and you gather the plants and seeds you like
and bring them back to the Cabin in the Woods.

On your way back, you wander by the stream
the babbling stream of your consciousness,
and you grab your bucket and dip into the clear cool water
and wash away all your resistance into the bucket,
to strengthen the power of your magic.
Feel your dream body dissolve into the stream,
as your resistance washes away into the bucket,
and emerge, refreshed and powerful, ready to begin planting.

First, you dip into the bucket,
and dribble hypnotic resistance
on all of the best planted ideas
that have grown perfectly as you intended
making them permanent and resistant
to any hypnosis that might interfere with them.

Then you empty the rest of the bucket
at the roots of your Tree of Manhood,
and cast a spell to make it as eternal
as the Cabin in the Woods itself.
It will continue to grow and flourish now
until it is the tallest and strongest
of all the trees in the whole forest,
and NO hypnosis will ever be able to remove it
or cause it to be any less powerful for you,
making permanent the Manly Spirit you planted,
letting him mold you into ever greater manhood,
and keeping him forever in your mind.

Now that the easy work has been done,
You plant again, the wildflowers of your mind
all of the old beautiful ideas that you liked
about the meadow before you had a Garden of the Mind.
They too will grow and flourish
in the fertile soil of the Vast Country,
and when tended in the Garden of the Mind,
will be even bigger and more beautiful than before,
sending out shoots again into the real world,
restoring all the things you lost
in the flood that built the cabin.

You have found again, your passion for your work
growing wild in the meadow, untended and neglected
and you plant it, and fertilize it in the garden,
so that your mind will be filled with inspiration
to do the best and most perfect work of your life.

You have found again, the love of your partner,
sweet smelling and beautiful as it was at its best,
and you plant it in a place of pride by the stream
so that it may flourish again as it did
at the very best time in your relationship,
restoring your love for your partner to the levels
that you had when it was the love of your life.

And you go on re-planting the wildflowers
until all of the good old ideas that you lost
have been restored to you at their very best.

In the empty spaces, you plant the seeds you got
from your friends in the fellowship,
all the best ideas you have borrowed from others
who you have encountered there in the last month,
so that they too may grow and flourish,
every time you go back to the fellowship,
and send out shoots into the real world,
becoming as beautiful as they were in your friends gardens.

And finally, now that your garden is worthy
you go back into the cabin, and get the prize:
the fragrant red rose of deep and instant trance,
and you plant it and you fertilize it,
right there at the entrance to the garden
closest to your stream of consciousness,
where it can help your power grow the most.
You ask the god of the Vast Country to bless it,
this beautiful bush of fragrant red roses,
so that the very image of the rose will always
take you down, instantly and irresistably,
into a nice, deep, comfortable trance,
no matter how distracted or worried you are.

All spring you will tend your garden of the mind,
coming back every single day to check on your progress.
Watering it with attention from the stream of consciousness,
and memories from the lake of your memory nearby.
Regularly fertilizing and tending the new ideas,
while carefully pruning the ones that tend to overgrow.

Any idea planted in your mind this spring
will grow faster and more thoroughly than ever before,
just as long as you continue your hypnotic work,
and continue tending the ideas in the Garden of your Mind.

Questing in the Vast Country

Picture yourself on a porch overlooking a lake,
the back porch of a rustic cabin in the woods,
deep in the forest in the mountains
somewhere in the backcountry of your mind.

Get Primary Quest for $15 at WarpMyMind

Feel the cool morning breeze as you look out
look out as a new day dawns over the lake of your memory,
the clouds turning first pink and then gold
as the sun rises over the mountains of your mind.
Quietly, beautifully... So peaceful!  So relaxing!
You could look on that view forever.

But you can't just stare at the sunrise all day,
there's work to be done and you must get going.
You head back into the cabin, up to the attic
where you find an old backpack perfect for trekking,
and take it down into the basement lab for tinkering,
closing the trapdoor behind you to contain the magic,
keeping it insulated from the rest of the Vast Country.

You dip your hands in the bucket of water,
and let your resistance wash away completely
as you slip into a nice, deep, comfortable trance.
You do not need your resistance in the vast country,
it will only hinder your magic.
You give up your resistance,
and you store it in the bucket.
You give up your resistance,
trance deeper and harder,
and feel your magic grow.
Growing more and more powerful
as the resistance washes away.

Without resistance it is easy,
to use the laws of the vast country,
to make whatever you want become so,
simply because you choose to believe them so.
Because, by the laws of the vast country,
if you immagine it, it is real;
and the more you immagine it,
the more real it becomes to you.

You relax your mind and summon the magic,
feeling the power of the vast country
flowing through your mind.
Space and time are just figments here,
figments that you can control if you choose to.
You cast a spell upon the backpack, just as you did on the cabin,
so that it can be as small and light on the outside,
as is convenient for you to carry in the backcountry,
yet large enough on the inside for all your gear,
and still bigger to contain anything you might need to bring back.

You open the trapdoor, and come up into the Library,
where you store all the books of your knowledge,
and carefully select the maps and books you will need
on your quest through the backcountry of the mind.
You are going deep into the subconscious in this quest,
and you will be far from the stream of consciousness.
Further and deeper into the subconscious
than you have ever been before.

A thought occurs to you, so you mosey to the bar.
"What if I find a memory there that I want to keep?"
The recycling bin is full of empty bottles,
just perfect for making bottled memories.
So you cast a quick spell on a few
to absorb the memories you find on your quest,
quickly, easily, and immediately,
so that you can save them forever in the Cabin bar,
and imbibe and experience them again whenever you wish.

As you pull on your backpack and walk out the front door,
you see your Manly Spirit out in the garden of the mind, watering the tree of manhood with his enormous schlong, letting his manly essence be absorbed by its roots.
You admire the many beautiful flowers in the garden of your mind. Growing and flourishing as a sign of your hypnotic success. They have grown so much since you first planted them!
Yet there are some that have not grown as they should, and others that will be overgrown before you get back.

You call over the Manly Spirit, and show him what must be done.
You and he have agreed that he will hold down the fort
by driving your body in your abscence, and guarding the Cabin.
And while you are away, he will tend the garden of the mind
just as you have commanded him to, so it's perfect when you return.

More and more, you find yourself yearning for the Vast Country,
you have already been letting him into your body:
to pump iron, to choose clothing, to groom you...
He knows everything required to operate your body,
and operate it at least as well as you can, if not better.
He honors his agreements with you...He need not be supervised
as he has proven himself to be totally trustworthy.
You are totally happy to be leaving him in control,
and all the concerns about the matter have long since faded away.

The sun rises higher over the Vast Country,
and it's beginning to be a beautiful day.
You walk hand in hand with your Manly Spirit,
up the banks of the stream of consciousness.
Feeling the sun on your backs,
listening to the breeze blowing through the trees,
and chatting excitedly about your plans for the quest,
as you wander upstream towards the source.

At the source of the stream of consciousness,
high in the mountains in the backcountry of the mind,
there is a grand and opulent marble temple.
The temple of the inner hypnotist, god of the Vast Country.
The white marble seems to glow magically,
in the warm light of the morning sun.
It becons you, like a glorious vision.
All the most powerful mind wizards
are trained by the inner hypnotist.

You and the Manly Spirit enter and kneel,
and pray to the god of the Vast Country
to bless your joint endeavors:
both for success on your quest in the subconscious,
and for the Manly Spirit's success in running your body.

A growling disembodied voice speaks,
and you find yourself sinking deeper and deeper,
falling safely and naturally into a very deep trance.
Only the Inner Hypnotist's blessing
can let you wander safely in the backcountry of the mind
so far from the stream of consciousness.
He growls his ascent, and you feel yourself beaming,
suddenly imbued with a supernatural power and protection,
that will help you stay safe no matter what you encounter.

You arise, and pass the keys to the Cabin to your Manly Spirit.
Handing over control of the body to your him while you are away.
Totally renouncing any contact with the physical body
for the next 3 days and nights after this trance,
unless an emergency forces the Manly Spirit to call you back.

For the next 3 days after this trance,
the Manly Spirit is in total control of the body.
He will take good care of your body when he's in it,
exercising it and building your muscles,
thinking with your brain and building your mind,
continuing all the habits that keep you alive and healthy,

You may notice it, when the manly spirit is inside your body
that your body responds to his presence,
adjusting your hormones over time,
so that the longer he is inside your body,
the more your body comes to resemble his self image,
coming more and more to look in the real world
like the image of him in your mind:
Masculine, muscular, and hairy, with a huge cock
that feels so much more sensitive than yours,
and oversized fertile balls that pump day and night
pumping out all the testosterone you need, so that
when you return your body as manly as the image in your mind.

While you are away in the backcountry,
if you are anywhere near the stream of consciousness,
you can listen in on the stream and evesdrop on what he is seeing.
Or send ideas down the stream to the cabin to communicate back.
If you are far from the stream of consciousness,
and your Manly Spirit needs to communicate with you,
he can simply pray to the Inner Hypnotist, and within 5 minutes
the Inner Hypnotist will guide you back to the stream,
so that you can be co-concsious until no longer needed,
and then return exactly where you left off your quest.

You bid the Manly Spirit goodbye,
and you head off up the mountains to quest.
Your Manly Spirit strips off all his clothes,
and bathes in the stream of consciousness,
feeling his dream body dissolve into the stream,
dissolve away and float down the stream consciousness,
until he rejoins your bodily awareness
which has been guarding your physical body,
and awakes in the physical body.
Wide awake, feeling good, and in total control.

The Cabin in the Woods

The cabin in the woods is your home base in the Vast Country, the center of your hypnotic world.
Besides being a hypnotic safe place, it also serves as a meeting place with alters, a place to store the things accumulated in your adventures, and a place with a convenient mental geography for casting a wide variety of mind wizarding spells later in your adventures.

You are literally laying the foundations of the rest of the system with this induction, so burn it in hard and reap the rewards later.  The cabin is a very versatile space that will be useful to almost anyone with a hypnotic life, and building it by magic is a good introduction to your powers in the Vast Country.

Building the Cabin in the Woods

In order to build a cabin,
you must first imagine a forest.

Imagine a forest,
somewhere inside you,
somewhere in the backcountry
 of your imagination,
deep within the vast country inside you, the vast country where all of your dreams can come true.

Feel yourself walking in the forest,
feel the sun on your back
as you walk between the sun and the shadow
enjoying the cool air in the forest.

Listening to the babbling
of your stream of consciousness
it is always there,
your stream of consciousness
but in hypnosis we simply learn
to step away from the stream of consciousness.

You step away from the stream of consciousness,
to examine a sturdy tree in the forest.
You could build a cabin from such a tree.
It is a beautiful tree with a strong hard wood
resistant to any disaster.
A cabin made of such wood would last forever.

You mark the tree with a magical sign,
and you wander down along the stream,
listing to the relaxing sound,
the sound of the stream of your consciousness.

And as you wander along the stream,
you admire all of the sturdiest trees,
the strongest timber in all of the forest,
and you mark each one with the magical sign,
you wander down the stream in the forest.
Watching the sun play in the shadows on the path
feeling the air on your skin.

You lie down into the stream of consciousness,
and you feel yourself beginning to dissolve into it.
You feel yourself fade back into your physical body,
and then return to the vast country,
slipping back into your dream body,
washed clean of all resistance.

You do not need your resistance in the vast country,
it will only hinder your magic.
You give up your resistance,
and you store it in a bucket.
You give up your resistance,
and feel your magic grow.
Growing more and more powerful
as the resistance washes away.

Without resistance it is easy,
to use the laws of the vast country,
to make whatever you want become so,
simply because you choose to believe them so.
Because, by the laws of the vast country,
if you imagine it, it is real;
and the more you imagine it,
the more real it becomes to you.

You emerge from the stream of consciousness,
and gather all the resistance you have washed away,
into a magical bucket, that will contain it,
contain it until you can use in later magic.

You let your mind roam,
down along the banks of your stream of consciousness
to find the perfect place to build a cabin in the woods.
You come upon a clearing,
with a view of the lake of your memory,
a clearing with a beautiful meadow,
a beautiful meadow full of wildflowers...

All the most beautiful ideas grow here,
untended, the wildflowers of your mind.
This must be the most fertile soil in the whole of the Vast Country.
It is where your dreams grow,
and send out shoots down the stream of consciousness
to influence your waking life in the real world.

If you planted a garden of the mind here,
you could grow any ideas you chose to:
you could tend it and fertilize it,
prune it into the form you wanted,
and it would grow and flourish,
and being so close to the stream of consciousness,
it could send out shoots down your stream of consciousness,
growing out into the real world,
changing your behaviors and your opinions.

And being so close to the lake of your memory,
there would be another source of water,
that your ideas could draw from,
absorbing your history to make them stronger,
growing and flourishing into your future.

You look out across the placid waters
of the lake of your memories,
smooth and placid, such a beautiful view.
You could look out on that view forever.

You could choose any place that you wanted
as your home base in the vast country.
You could imagine the place of your dreams
if you chose to, but you choose to live here,
because the magic is strong here,
and the view, out across the lake of your memory,
with the forest and mountains on the other side
is just so beautiful to you.

You can retire here in the vast country,
and make this your base of operations
for all of your adventures out there
in the backcountry of your mind.
The magic is strong here,
and you have easy access to everything you need,
to control every aspect of your hypnotic life.

The idea grows and grows in your mind,
and the more the idea grows,
the more you imagine it real,
and in the vast country,
the more you imagine it,
the more real it becomes to you.
This image in your mind,
of the cabin in the woods
there where the stream of consciousness
flows out into the lake of your memory.
There where the magic is strongest.

The plan is seared into your mind now:
over the next few nights you will build it,
build it in more and more detail in your mind.
and by the laws of the Vast Country,
when you have imagined it, it will become so.

You begin by deepening your trance,
letting your mind expand as your dream body fades,
giving up all cares about your body,
and focusing the full power of your mind
into raising the level of your consciousness,
and as your consciousness expands,
your stream of consciousness begins to flood,
clearing the land for the cabin in the woods,
clearing your mind to plant a garden in the fertile mud
left behind by the receding waters.

Feel the waters receding as you return to your dream body,
draining away into the lake of your memory,
leaving the land clear to build your cabin,
except for one small puddle at the lowest point.
You imagine the pond growing deeper and deeper,
right down to the bedrock of the core of your existence,
expanding outwards to the exact shape,
of the foundation you have chosen.

You grab your bucket of resistance,
and you mix it into the concrete,
and pour it into three foot walls,
resistant to all magic, from within or without.
This will be your safest saferoom,
impervious to any influence from the outside.
It will also be your alchemy lab,
where you can formulate the seeds
of the ideas you plant in the garden of the mind
without any influence bleeding in
from the rest of the vast country.

The walls of the lab are thick concrete,
nothing can penetrate them.
No magic you do here will bleed out
into the rest of the vast country,
unless you choose to bring it out with you.
No magic spell cast anywhere else in the vast country
can penetrate the thick concrete walls
made of pure hypnotic resistance,
so that no magic spell can influence the work you do here.

You will make pure seeds,
to grow in the garden of your mind,
so that they will grow and flourish
into just the form you want them to be
because you make them in a controlled, sealed environment
where any mistakes can be contained,
so that only you can choose what ideas to plant
in the garden of your mind.

The thick walls of the lab are also the foundation
the unshakable foundation of the cabin in the woods,
making the cabin eternal in your mind
so that no matter the storm or flood
it can always be reimagined on exactly this spot,
and be new and perfect the next time you need it.

You imagine yourself a trapdoor,
and you seal the top of the foundation,
with three feet of resistance concrete,
sealing in the alchemy lab from all sides,
leaving only the trapdoor up to the cabin.

You climb up, through the trapdoor
after laying the foundation,
and you find a pile of timber,
all the strongest trees in the forest
with that perfect impervious wood
that will last forever in your mind,
keeping you safe inside your cabin,
from anything that might threaten you,
whether in the Vast Country or the real world.

You cast a spell upon the timber,
and it assembles into the cabin,
a perfect copy of the image in your mind,
that came to you the moment you first considered
that there could be such a thing
as a cabin in the woods deep inside your mind.

And as you imagine it, in more and more detail
the cabin in the woods becomes more and more real
the magical wood shaping itself to what you imagine.
When the outside form pleases you, you let it settle,
into an image of your perfect cabin in the woods.

In the vast country, space can be bent to your whims.
You relax your mind and summon the magic,
feeling the power of the vast country
flowing through your mind. Space and time are just figments here,
figments that you can control if you choose to.
You cast a spell upon the cabin, making it eternal,
so that it will shine forever in your mind,
and be there as a safe place whenever you need one.
You cast a spell upon the cabin, bending it to your whims
so that it can be precisely as big on the outside
as is pleasing for you to imagine,
and yet precisely as big on the inside,
as you might care to imagine it to be.

You step through the front door of the cabin in your mind,
and you imagine yourself an impressive library,
where you will store all your tapes and your books of magic,
with a view out across the meadow and the garden and beyond,
to the mountains of the backcountry of your imagination,
so that you can be inspired there.
With a bar full of bottled memories
that you have dredged up from the lake of your memory
so that you can experience them again as if they were new.

Across the hall, You imagine a living room,
in the back of the cabin in the woods
with a glass door out to the back porch
so you can look out across the lake of your memory,
and remember anything that ever transpired,
either in your real life or in the vast country.

In the living room you can meet with the others,
who share your life and your consciousness.
You can speak with them, if you choose to
and share your memories out the window,
so that they can share their wisdom with you,
and advise you on your life and hypnotic work.

Down the hall in either direction,
You imagine rooms in the cabin in the woods
for each of the inhabitants who lives inside your mind,
anyone you share your mind with
who you trust to take over your body
can have their own room in the cabin in the woods,
where they can go to be safe
whenever they are not in your body
with a window on the world in their bedroom,
so that the inhabitant can look out,
look out to see what the body is seeing
a window that can be opened
to let the sounds and the smells
and the sensations of the real world in
and hear what the body is hearing.

And above, under the roof of the cabin,
you will have an attic, where you can store
all the things that you have collected
in your adventures in your mind.
You charm your attic with powerful magic,
so that you can find whatever you need there
as long as you have ever stored it there.

You climb down from the attic,
and you find yourself growing very tired.
You notice a sign on the wall of the living room
the sign says:
"Will the Last one out please turn out the lights?"
You look around and notice that it is night now
and all of the other inhabitants of your mind have gone to bed.

You open the front door and imagine the meadow,
back into a state of pristine beauty,
glittering magically in the moonlight,
with all of your construction debris gone.
And you charm any creatures that might still be awake
charm them with your magical music into a deep sleep.

You lock the front door of the cabin,
and you turn out all of the lights.
You go to your room in the cabin,
and open your window on the world a bit,
so you can listen to the tapes the body is hearing,
you draw the curtan on your consciousness,
and imagine yourself a perfect bed,
so soft, so comfortable.
In this bed you will sleep,
sleep with your mind open
open to the power of the vast country,
and as you sleep your mind will remain open,
letting the suggestions on the tape in your ears
pass unfiltered into your subconscious...
programming it stronger and stronger,
to grow the ideas you have chosen.

Sleep now with your mind open,
and feel the power of the vast country
passing through you and into your body
sleep, and let the my voice pass through you.
